Terms & Conditions

Payment:
A non refundable deposit is required at time of booking. An invoice for the final payment will be sent out one month prior to the elopement. The final payment is due 2 weeks before the date of the wedding. Payments must be made before the wedding.

Rescheduling/change of date for your wedding/elopement:
Elope 2 Mt Dandenong will do our best to reschedule your wedding due to circumstances beyond your control or if you need extra time for arrangements. We require a minimum of 14 days’ notice unless there is a lockdown due to a pandemic.

Cancellation:
In the event of a cancellation of the wedding by the couple, deposits paid are non-refundable. Once your non-refundable deposit is received you have agreed to our full terms of service. If the elopement is cancelled within 7 days of the event, the full payment is required. We have a no refund policy in place if one of the parties fails to turn up on the wedding day.

Natural disasters:
In the event of a natural disaster, Elope 2 Mt Dandenong will do everything we can to reschedule or re locate the wedding. However, if the wedding occurs during a natural disaster without warning, we are not liable for any damage or loss.

WET WEATHER: If you are planning an outdoor ceremony, it’s essential to have a wet weather back up plan. If weather does not permit us to set up your ceremony as planned, we will set up your ceremony at an alternate location and will ensure it is still absolutely stunning. Amplifiers and electrical equipment cannot be used outdoors during inclement weather.

Photography terms and conditions:
Elope 2 Mt Dandenong and the photographer may use the photographs for advertising or promotional work on media platforms. This is optional and the couple must inform us if they do not wish to have their images used in any advertising or promoting.

High res images are supplied via an online gallery or Dropbox. It is your responsibility to not only save a copy to your computer but also a second copy to a USB or external hard drive. Digital images will be available online for 8 weeks.

IMAGES ONLY STORED FOR FOR 2 MONTHS. PLEASE BACK UP YOUR PHOTOS!
The photographer only releases edited photos and not raw images. The couple are responsible for supplying the photographer with a list of people they would like included in their wedding photos and combinations of family members or friends.

Damage to property:
The beautiful venues that Elope 2 Mt Dandenong uses need to be treated with respect. In the event of any damages or extra cleaning of the properties used for the elopements/ micro weddings, the couple are responsible for extra payments incurred by the couple or by the wedding guests.

Legal requirements the couple are responsible for:
The couple are responsible for supplying their forms of identification and marital status documents:

Forms of ID: Birth Certificate and/or passport and another form of photo identification (i.e. driver’s licence).

Divorced: Divorce certificate (Decree absolute)

Widower or Widow: Death Certificates

The wedding ceremony cannot go ahead without these documents.
