My name is Rosalind Mackay and I’m a celebrant and the proud owner of Elope to Mt Dandenong.
I have worked in the wedding industry for 18 years and during that time, I have seen weddings grow bigger and bigger and more expensive than ever. I have also seen couples become so stressed and overwhelmed by the organising of the event, that they don’t really enjoy their wedding day.
I am a long term resident of the Dandenong Ranges and set up this business in 2013 as a way of bringing together all of the fantastic small businesses in my community; from cake makers, to florists, to photographers. I know all the local beautiful best kept secret spots in the Dandenong Ranges and offer an affordable and relaxing alternative to conventional weddings.
Over the years we have developed a great team of friendly and professional suppliers. Our photographer will capture your special day with minimal fuss, our florist will source locally grown fresh flowers to create a beautiful bouquet of your choice to fit with your colour scheme, and our hair and makeup artists will make you up in the comfort of your accommodation to make you look and feel gorgeous.
The Dandenong Ranges are a special place for my family and I, and I love the idea of sharing them with you on such a memorable moment in your lives.
